As you all know in bloggy land, we are in the process of adoption. We have paid off our debts (can I get a woo woo!!!!!) and are saving up all that we can, to be ready for "the call".

Upon Googling ways to fund adoptions and adoption grants, etc., I came across this site.

This site has partnered with T.O.N.S retailers (many of whom you probably already use!) that make donations to different causes.

So, we are asking our families and friends (both blog and real life) to please at least check this site out, if you are interested in helping us earn money for our adoption.

If you would like to use this site to help, you will need to do the following:

1. Go to the website: http://www.onecause.com

2. Create an account

3. Choose "National Adoption Foundation" as your cause

4. Once you do that, On the left side of the "My Home" page, there is a menu and there is a link for Supporter Crediting. Click on that and then click the button to enroll. It will then give you a place to put an email address. Put ours in there.

5. GO SHOPPING like you normally do, at retailers you normally do!!!!!


The major difference is: THERE IS NOTHING EXTRA ADDED TO YOUR PURCHASE!!

The retailer makes the contribution.

For Example:

You buy a book on Amazon
Total purchase price with
tax & shipping: $15.76


You buy the same book on Amazon through the OneCause site...
Total purchase price with
tax & shipping: $ 15.76!!

AMAZON would then make the contribution to the National Adoption Foundation!!

How cool is that?!?!?

Talk about a WIN / WIN situation.

Please know that we are NOT asking for anyone to contribute money to our adoption. We are just asking that if you do online shopping, consider taking a different path, that will get you what you want, but it would also be helping to bring a family together.
