Unfortunately, our birth mother couldn't go through with the adoption and decided not to place her baby. The worst part is the way she did it. There was no discussion, no explanation. She more or less took the baby and ran. We haven't heard from her since.
Needless to say, we are angry and devastated.

Oh, my Tammy, what a shock and sadness ! I am so very sorry that this has occurred. In some states, even after the birth mother gives the baby to adoptive parents for months, she can still change her mind and take the baby back. No matter what, I'm praying for you both at this very heartbreaking time !!!
