Some of you may or may not know, but we are having a house built here in Las Cruces! We are very excited. It was very cool picking out the colors for paint, cabinets, carpet, counter tops and exterior. We made sure to add some skylights and solar tubes to not only keep the house bright, but to save electricity by not having to use lights during the day. A stove and dishwasher came with the house, but we ordered a refrigerator, washer and dryer and a microwave that goes over the stove, so it will be ready to go when we move in.
The house is supposed to be ready in the middle of June. We should be able to move in the last week of June.
Over the next few months, we will be posting pictures of the progress being made of the house.
These first few pictures show the lot where our house is being built.
