I worked an 11 hour day today, getting 1099's out to our subcontractors. I am tired.
My hubby was awesome and made dinner. Beans con Ham. (I will have a WHOLE other post on that another time) After eating, I wanted to get comfortable. Not sweats and a t-shirt comfortable, REEEEEALLLLY comfortable. My radar was set to my favorite nightgown. You know the one: it's probably older than your kids (if you have any), long, stretchy, a few stains, one or more holes, maybe even the seam(s) aren't even sewn anymore. That's the one. Mine has one more "feature"... The sleeves were too long and I "tailored" them. (if you call grabbing a pair of scissors in a blind fit of destruction, tailoring) They are now gloriously uneven. But, I am comfortable. REEEEEALLLLY comfortable.
What are your favorite jammies or comfy clothes?
I have a pair of pajama pants that I made when I was 17, there's a HUGE hole in the crotch, and I usually like to wear a t-shirt I got from Girls' Camp (um, as a leader, not a youth!). Comfy!
ReplyDeleteMy fav thing to wear is my warm, furry slippers. I even wear them to church.
ReplyDeleteI usually just put on pajama pants or shorts with a T-shirt (totally not matching though). I used to have some shirts like you were describing, but I finally got rid of them (don't know why). Congrats on making so much headway with your family history work-that is very exciting. Sorry that you can't go see the wrestling, a little while ago I wanted to go see Carrie Underwood at the Pan Am Center, but the tickets were 100 bucks per person-way too steep for me. But I was really bummed because I love Carrie Underwood, and am an avid American Idol watcher.
ReplyDeleteI like to wear jammies to lounge around in, as early as possible and my jaguar fuzzy slippers...I buy long jammie nightshirts( I like T-shirt material) and colorful patterned bottoms. They aren't tattered or stained or ripped...just comfy, cozy and relaxing...
ReplyDeleteOOOOO- yes, comfortable is the way to go. Throw off the bra for sure. I have this gigantic t-shirt that goes all the way to my knees and sleeves hit the elbows (just the right length) I could live in that baby.
